The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Division President, who in turn reports to the President & CEO. Although the Regional Sales Manager will not have people management responsibility, the successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the customer base in an important region of the United States. This individual will be expected to perform at a high level and to contribute ideas toward improving the overall success and performance of the west coast region.
Experience, Qualifications & Education
The qualified candidate will have strong experience in a manufacturing company with at least ten (10) years performing at a high level in business development/sales positions. Our client is seeking an influential sales professional who has demonstrated past outstanding success in the selling of manufactured capital goods.

Preferably, the Regional Sales Manager will have an undergraduate degree in business or an engineering related area. Individuals with exceptional commercial vehicle HVAC experience but with a degree in some other discipline or without a degree may be considered for this opportunity.

Basic Function & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for selling HVAC parts and systems by calling on existing as well as developing new business relationships with independent HVAC parts and system distributor’s, fleets, and OES dealers. More specifically, this position will be in daily contact with customers of various sizes, building relationships, problem solving, training, assessing their needs, and cultivating new business opportunities.
